Sinn Ref. 910 Anniversary Schleppzeiger Chronograph

 

This is a limited edition of 300 steel-cased split-seconds chronographs honoring Sinn's 55 years in business. (It appears to be already sold out in the U.S.) The watch comes in an attractive presentation box with some extra goodies:

Included is a cloth, extra band and tools for changing bracelet to leather; and removing bracelet links.

It has a real presence on the wrist due to its heft; however it is not uncomfortably heavy. The diameter is 41.5mm and the height 15.5. The diameter seems about right for a split second and I think it looks good on the wrist. The height is more than I typically would like but it is in no way distracting; nor does it look too tall when on the wrist. Also, I prefer leather to bracelets in the vast majority of cases bit I have fallen in love with the Sinn bracelet on this watch and I cannot (at least yet) see switching to the leather band. The bracelet is very comfortable-I don't even notice I am wearing a sizable hunk of steel.

I promise more, and clearer movement photos in the near future. Once someone hides the Gordon's from me I will feel competent to remove a bracelet link with the metal tool and take some unobstructed pictures.
