Sir James Dyson, inventor extraordinaire wears a flightmaster.
and who can blame him.
i've just seen a programme about fake goods and he was on there very concerned about fake Dyson products. on his wrist was a very identifiable watch. chunky pilots case, chrono, analogue dial, correct bracelet. what else could it be?
a man of taste quite obviously.

i had a flightmaster and your right, i didnt bond with it. if i could find another within the affordable range i know i would buy it. they are top heavy, bulky, strange, but very practical and a perfect example of early 70's design. sa,e goes for the spee...

well, i havent had the speedy mk5, but i had the teutonic 861 which has the same case, 2915,2998, original railmaster. so there are a few. more than that, but if you havent owned it you cant remember not having it. i wish that i had had digital photograph...
