So, I decided to go for my "Ed White" i.e. the 105.003-64. This watch has a serial which is super close to the S/N 28 ...
.... a 105.003 that was worn by Cernan on the Gemini 9 and the Apollo 10 + 17 mission. S/N 28 and mine have both serials 22.089.xxx. The NASA S/N 28 was delivered on December 20, 1965. Mine was delivered on October 25 to the USA.
The first pic below is an iPad shot from this afternoon with a new bracelet on the watch. The other two shots are a little older and show my watch on an original NASA Kodak photograph which bears the original signature of Ed White. I was lucky to get this photo on Ebay from the original (US) owner a few years ago. This Ed White is one of the very first Speedy's that I had purchased "a good while ago".
