Rolex

To get my first Rolex... The latest version of explorer 2 in white dial.. It's not love at first sight but I get to really like it more the more I wear it The orange hand makes a nice link to the original explorer2 without trying too hard to be "vintage" ...  

U can never go wrong with a Rollie , esp this the modern iteration of a classic. I had the same opinion of the explorer 2, untill I had the chance to handle one. Nice size, get comfort, sits well on the wrist, nice solid feel to the bracelet. Well made ma... 

This one has a nice bigger size compared to other Rolexes, which I believe will make a good transition for me... The built is solid.. And what I love about it is that I can just grab it anytime and wear it with anything! Well since you mention, I have to ...  

Had a chance to handle the dateless Sub recently, but that piece was spoken for and all wrapped up !! Once u cross to the rollie side ..... its ..... Quite impossible to settle for ONE ! And there are less numbers to know by heart ;)))

It's just like Panerai, every piece is unique and packed with strong character... The Sub ND is a piece, everyone can't go wrong with... Best, Sam

the Sub will be long lasting as u got it right after only a week of loving the orange hand. Kidding. He probably lives in your neighbourhood and saw u walking into the Rolex AD everyday anticipating the arrival of your new found love.

I've also got the new Sub and love it...wearing it now in fact..!! It's the perfect evolution of the Sub with all the tweaks...gorgeous and bullet proof :) Congrats on these both, Andy.

:) Just like Panerai, it is addictive.. I saw your Sub C ... Also a lovely watch... The cyclops isn't much of a distraction like Panerai... Sam

....if the hand ain't orange, it wouldn't had been so appealing to the eyes. I also think white looks better than a black dial, more pleasant and gentle. The watch rocks!! I heard it gives nice blueish lume :) very nice. Congrats Sam.

under the sun... window lighting also works great makes the brown dial shows and tritium dial glows good luck! and look forward to see more shot Sam ...

The white dial explorer2 has great legibility... Compared to the black dialed submariner... The white dial and black index rings and hands makes it very legible.. And what I love is the size, as it is very acceptable in modern watch sizes... It really is ... 

I've picked up the new 42mm ExpII as well...although for me, it was love at first sight (first announced actually) Wear them well, Sam Drew ...
