The common point between these 2 references is that they both are no crown guard Submariners, and they both house the Cal 390 FHF. The 7922 came with small or big crown, the 7924 only with the big crown. They both have a strong charm and appeal. They both...  

I will have to buy some vintage Tudor Subs. Because I\'m getting quite sure they are the next big thing! If they are not already just that.

The 6538 has has a huge run while the Tudor 7924 has remained in the same range. This is also the case for example with the Rolex sub range vs the Tudor range. If you are thinking the next best thing from an investment stand point i do not share your opti... 

7922 and 7924 are going up in value to reach a certain point now. For example, a 7922 small crown will be more expensive than a very nice 5508 or 6536. Much rarer, not less desirable. As for the 7924, you are not ,still, at the value of a 6538, 5510, true... 

Too rare makes it less trade worthy. Chasing Unicorns. But for the Tudor collector it remains very affordable. Rolex has it's status without being exclusive to collectors. It is all a personal matter. No right or wrong just the way the market evolves. Hig...
