Some quick thoughts about the GMT
I always admired this model, and it was my 1st real nice and expensive watch...
I love its sporty and quite fun look with its red and blue bezel, its functionnality, its strenght, and solid aspect.
The question was what model?
I began with a 16700, but was not pleased when one day, I saw the big non circled indexes...
I was totally mad about it and finally purchased it....
1675 or 16 750?
16750!
I was looking ofr a production which will be the same than my Birthdate, but I didn't get it, and the tranistionnal GMT crossed my way.
Here it is:
Last year, I discovered the new GMT....
I love the case, the bezel ,but I'm totally disappointed by the size of the bracelet, too disproportionned in size, compared to the case which seems bigger than the previous model.
A pity!
I love this model, but the bracelet, I now only see that!
Am I alone in this case?
I speak of the SS version, not of the Gold which strangely seems less chocking...
My baby on the wrist...
Best.
Nicolas

You mean this one ? It's a UAE, not an Oman, but the problem is unbelievable. I gave it to Rolex Geneva for an expertise. After 6 weeks they told me that: 1/ The Dial, the hands, the movement, the bezel, well, all is right except: 2/ The case...!!! They t...

Not to be dense, but your GMT has a 40 mm case, like other GMTs, right? And all DJ cases are 36 mm, isn't that right too? So how is it even possible that someone used a DJ case on what is otherwise a genuine GMT? I am surely missing something here. - Jon

You didn't miss nothing, That's exactly what Rolex said to me... But I assume that they speak of the number, which should be relative to a DJ... Which is stupid, for the reason previously given....You take an old GMT case and you abuse everyone. So where ...
