Southern California WIS Luncheon - March 3 - The Wife/Girlfriend get together
I have been happily married to my wife for 26 years. In fact we have been
together for over 28 years, but if you ask her, she knows that there is one
woman in this world that I would leave her for in a heart beat, Catherine
Deneuve.
In that regard, I would suggest that we get together and bring our favorite
watch(the wife) along with the why and what it is that makes it so special to you.
Also bring along a story, picture or other info about the watch (the girl friend) that would
instantly surplant that favorite watch.
I will admit that for us with more than one watch, choosing the "most favorite"
may be as painful as choosing the favorite child but the good thing about
watches over children, the watches don't have feelings to hurt and there will be
no psychology bills to pay later.
For those who have not made the plunge but are still fascinated by the art of
horology, come and join us and just bring a picture of a potential "significant
other". It is our hope to share our interest about watches with newbies and
oldbies.
The luncheon is planned for March 3 at about 12 noon in Orange County at a well
respected restaurant.
