Souvenirs from the JLC Manufacture: Memovox 2010.
In October 2009, I was at the Manufacture to pre view the 2010 collection, and among the watches to be unveiled, 3 months after, the famous Memovox, which was discontinued for a few years.
So, I saw the prototype in steel...
With a small difference, compared to the definitive Watch.
Can you spot it?

The difference is of course not in the metal of the case, but on the dial...

Well.. Guess, the answer is two-fold:1/ proto has REVEIL written,
while final has MEMOVOX, opposite the little arrow; and 2/ Yes the Automatic , but not sure about that one Best, hs
The Memovox was re introduced in the catalog, after having been discontinued for a few
Years, with a new movement, at that time. Oh well, almost new, since it is the Cal 956, which replaced the Cal 918 which was housed in the former version, as well as in the MC Memovox, or the Amvox 1. I will post something about that movement, soon. Best,...
I preferred " Memovox " written on the alarm disc, without " automatic " on the dial.

I'm still convinced that this will do a very second JLC in my collection!! Have you a listing of all JLC Memovox/Reveil watches? I would be after a manual wind with crystal glass (please :-) ) Maybe such a review exist on the forum? All the best, Etienne

What is its reference? And what's the movement? When I said crystal, I meant saphhire. The JLC Master Reveil Memovox (ref. 144.8.94) would suit me very well! But the 144.24.70 with see-through back would be my grail!! All the best, Etienne
This is the Master Memovox from the....
Late 90's / early 00's. Inside is the manual Cal 914. AFAIK, the only manual memovox with sapphire crystal (if you don't count the Master Grand Memovox with perpetular calendar). Best Blomman
