Speake-Marin case sizes. A...
Re: Speake-Marin case sizes.
A recent post on this forum enquired about the different sizes of the
cases available in the Speake-Marin line. If this post works, you should
see attached a photograph of the Piccadilly serpent calendar in both
38mm and 42mm guise side by side. The photograph was kindly provided by
the delightful Mrs Speake-Marin and is reproduced here with her
permission.

That the dial size on both the 38 and 42mm variants are identical. The different siae/appearence of the watches is due solely to a larger case/bezel. I do not mean to imply that there is anything "wrong" with this, just that potential owners of PSM watche...

When I asked Peter about the dial size, he said they were different. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the 42mm version does seem to have a bit more spacing between both the calendar numerals and the romans. The length of the hands are definitely diff...
