Spotted at Watches and Wonders: Kees Engelbarts.
I had the pleasure to meet Kees at Watches and Wonders, with the Gronefeld brothers, when I took my " moss shot " with a Principia Automatic.
When Kees saw that, he offered me to take some shots of his watch which is was wearing. A Kees Engelbarts " Piece Unique " in silver.
So I did...
I didn't know Kees' work, but on his business card I read: " Engraver. Unique Hand Made Watches ".
He told me that he worked on some Peseux movements, which is very fine for me. The decoration of this movement is really awesome, even if the dial side, impressive, is not much my taste.

Kees is a very nice and humble person
And his craftsmanship is incredible imho . He works for big and independent companies . he also creates amazing and beautiful watches under his own name . True art pieces. I really like them a lot . ...
