Story of "How I found myself a moon phase watch"
After no luck with the below master moon in WG (still dream about her some time - a perfect watch in my opinion) , I went on with my search for a moon phase watch that will suit me.
picture: ed the watchseller.
I give a try to Glasshute Original Senator Power Reserve Moonphase for short while
the dial color is nice , PR is a plus but not the moon phase and case size. I found moon phase is too stealth and case size too small for my like. needless to say , she was passed down to the other collector.
My radar continue working , I found a perfect sister of the Master Moon - Master Calendar - perfect size at 40mm not too big or small for my 6.5" wrist. But , a big but here IMHO , the dial color in white/silver is too plain.

How about the one in gold. Yes this one give must better contrast but in gold is beyond my budget
both pictures shamelessly steal from
Jaw
Then I realize there is a Boutique Edition. Perfect dial color, just the same 40mm right for my skinny wrist. I was immediately hooked up. But how to get my hand on one as it is suppose to be in limited production.
To make the story short, on one fine day i was offered , IMHO - my grail for now, Master Calendar Boutique Edition. Of course I immediately jump in and the rest is history.
Did I say that perfect size for my small wrist (40mm) , right dial color , good complication.
just couldn't resist to share with you. I hope you find this piece of report is entertaining. Thank you for WATCHing.
Have a nice week end.
