Sunday Picture: Pam 24 A.
Here is a picture of a watch I recently photographed, a Pam 24 A, with its smooth bezel.
There is a lot to say, and I will certainly prepare a post about what I consider as the nicest Submersible ever made by Panerai, with the 64.
Certainly one of the few I would consider if I had to re build a small Panerai collection, too.
But for the moment, enjoy this picture, this beauty:

These earliest submersibles....
PAM24 & PAM25 are amongst my favorite submersible, along with the PAM64 and the Egiziano (despite of the size) And both PAM24 & 25, to me are the closest, civilized version of the Egiziano Very wearable and has a very strong Panerai character to it Thanks...
I particularly like the high polish of the case!

Somewhere between 45 and 47 mm would be perfect! Till now, this 24, and the Fat Bomba are my first choices. Best, Nicolas.
44mm in my opinion... even at 47 mm it would be akward to wear
because of the shape of the case, but I reckon IF they did make it......47mm how long to Jan 2012?????????????????????????????????????
Well, I think the Egiziano has to stay a big watch.

Only difference, I draw the line at the 24A. No place, in my Hit Parade, for the Bomba or any other Sub (and that include the Bronzo)... Ciao - Sergio

Even though I prefer brushed surfaces, I must say the 24 looks fantastic
And with a early Sub "feel" that has mutated and even lost in newer versions. Thanks for the Sunday pic, though I only saw it now on Monday. Best, Horo

I totally agree... With the later versions, Panerai lost its the natural balance and appeal of " The Sub ". Best, Nicolas.

The smooth polished bezel is special. Even as I crave a 382 Bronzo, the newest interpretation of the Submersible, how can you ever beat this, now a classic? Thanks Nicolas.
