The borrowed Chopard went for a ride

 

As stated in one of the earlier posts, I have passed on the Mille Miglia to my wife practically as soon as it was delivered and she has seen it. While it necessitated a smaller strap to fit her, I got the right of occassional use, which I took the chance to do. As mentioned previously, the lume is excellent and minimal exposure to light will have it glowing brightly straight away.

The legibility is excellent, irrespective of whether it is lit up or not. The Italian flag colours are really subtle, i.e. you need to concentrate to notice them.

While the smaller strap is meant for my wife, it accomodates my wrist size, too (the original, which we of course kept, would probably get put back on, were my wife to change her mind one day) It is very supple and comfortable, a real pleasure to wear.

Last but not least, a family photo. In comparison the MM does look much more playful and informal but then agan that is its purpose anyway.
