The MCDC has landed...

This is my first post, though I've been a long-time lurker here. Anyway, I wanted to say that my MCDC arrived this Saturday, and guys, I'm in love. This watch hits all the right notes for me, and makes for a wonderful introduction to the brand. It was between this or the EWC, but given my predilection for divers, this was really my only choice.

Here are a couple of shots taken in the country with my other dive chrono, the UTS 600M:




In terms of sheer legibility and diving chops, the UTS wins; what can I say, Herr Spinner builds one helluva watch (and when I say "builds", I mean it -- he designs, machines, and assembles the cases, crowns, pushers, bracelets of each watch that bears his name -- heck, he even paints the lume on the dials). That said, the MCDC is a JLC, and I don't need to tell anyone here what that means.

Again, I think this is love.

PS - The articulated rubber strap is truly the best of both worlds; glad I chose it.
