Thank you to Ron Resch for putting together this small GTG in Beverly Hills at Porta Via Restaurant. The Attendees included: Ron Resch, Dean Gamburd, Jonath Chubb, Anthony Tsai, Thomas Mao, Robert Dickman, Craig Marcus, and myself.
It was great having brunch with such a caliber of guys; more so than the impressive gathering of the pieces which they brought along. It was The Million Dollar Plus Table. We had four 203s and a 21
. Thomas was wearing the tantalum AP Orchard Road, which has been on my short list, but I have never had the opportunity to see one. It even got Robert’s attention. It is IMHO AP’s most handsome piece. Craig Marcus brought along a nice sampling of non Panerai pieces and Mr. Dickman brought some pretty nice hardware along too. I traveled light with my PAM217. Thank you Thomas for letting try on the Orchard Road and thank you Anthony for letting me spend a lot of time with your 21. I also tried on the PAM194 which I think will be my next acquisition; it’s a neck and neck with the 243. What do you think, Too Big? Then we walked over to the boutique to say “Hi” to Chad, Tanya and Jason and had the good luck to run into Verone. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Thanks for a great GTG guys and thank you for looking,
Diego
"I've been caught stealing;
once when I was 5...
I enjoy stealing.
It's just as simple as that.
Well, it's just a simple fact.
When I want something,
I don't want to pay for it."
