As I said, I'm working a bit on the VC Watches these last days, and in the shop where I saw the Mercator, I also was allowed to play a bit with this Saltarello.
The Cushion shaped case is very elegant, so is the dial with this nice finish...
With this " rays " converging to the base of the Minute hand, it's really stunning.
I appreciate a lot this kind of watches, which allows you to read the hour in a different way.
A small window for the Hour, only one hand for the minutes, and that's all!
Very sober, very original, very elegant, too.
A nice surprise is waiting for you, at the case back.
A skeletized rotor, with a beautiful Croix De Malte!
To say all, I would have preferred this one in the Mercator!!!
On the wrist, a nice feeling, indeed, not too big, nor too small, very comfortable and elegant.
It changes a bit from the classic round watches!
The only thing is that you'd better see this watch alone, not after a Mercator, as this last one is a killer, and the other VC, like this Saltarello are really in the shade of this monster!
Best!
