To ensure we don't get another critical remark from Marcus Hanke, here a recent picture of the Seiko SRQ019J1
A while ago Marcus rightfully pointed out that we show our Seiko Presage 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Chronographs (SRQ019 in my case) too rarely (here: www.watchprosite.com the thread).
So to ensure no further criticism in that direction here are two recent pictures of mine. As I like to call it. My daughter had namely already decided it's going to be hers as soon as she can comfortably handle its relatively large size.
One needs to get the light just right to get the Grand feu enamel dial visible in photos (same for the blue hands) but the pleasure is there when one does
It remains one of the larger watches in my collection and it definitely does not wear smaller than its size suggests.
I also have to say that I am wearing it now much more frequently after having changed straps to the chicken leg leather one. In addition to the material being anything but ordinary, I find the colour combination quite pleasing, too

Chicken legs do have something going to recommend themselves.
This is such a good-looking watch-just a bit too tall. Nice that your daughter wants it for herself some day. (And that could work out to your benefit both now and in the future, if you play your cards right!)

I am glad you approve As for my kids, now that they are two I started mentally dividing the watches between them and thinking how this would alter 'my collection' - the part I intend to keep much longer
I suppose you are right...
But it also makes me think of a future where I will be able to have fewer watches without letting any go, if you know what I mean. Something that feels relatively exciting to contemplate

I never played with these as a child so do not have any associations. But I can see where you are coming from I have been more the Matchbox and Majorette (spelling?) type when I was a child
I played with that kind of toys because few of them came from my father.

Your chronograph looks great, and I also like the strap choice. Unfortunately, I still have not found the time to take good pictures of my Urushi version. Marcus
