trying to ID a VC pocket watch, help appreciated
Hello all! I am researching an old pocket watch for a friend. He has owned the watch for a very long time. It has the original red box and all paperwork. It is 18k, yellow gold and verrrry thin. The movement # is: 494518, case # is: 394634 and the model is: 4247
It is in perfect shape. It doesn't look like it was ever used at all.

You have a lot of information already on this watch....
The next step is to date it. Contact VC's Concierge in New York (info on VC's website) and relay all that info to him. You might also want the caliber reference number (or ask VC to tell you what it is). Bill
