Tumi Watches
Hello. This is my first post here. I am a 22 year old who is just beginning to explore the wonderful world of watches. There is a watch made by Tumi that I have been wanting to purchase for a long time now. Granted, this is an entry-level watch made by a luggage company, but I have been fond of it for some time. It is the Tumi Black Square Chrono with the 'black ion plated band'.

I first discovered it about a year ago and it was priced at $1,300. I recently saw it again and it is now $600. I was wondering if anyone knows why there was such a drastic price change? Is it because they simply weren't selling at $1,300 since they are not renowned watch-makers or are there other reasons?
Any input or reviews of Tumi watches would be very much appreciated as they are not widely covered. Thanks-
