Two IWC Perpetual Calenders of 2010 Editions
Both the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar with electric
blue-dial and the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar are the 2010
Boutique Exclusive Limited Editions which rolled out at the last quarter of 2010. They are powered by the large IWC
manufactured 5161X calibre equips with the
Pellaton winding which could charge up a seven-day power reserve with
the clear calendar display of date, weekday, month, year in four digits
and perpetual moon phase.

Produced in limited production of 100 pieces.
Case 18K Rose gold and the diameter is 42.3 mm by 15.6mm thick with water resistance rating to 3 Bar.
Alternate polishing on the case with a signed gold crown which is used to adjust both the time and all the calender functions.
Striking
blue dial. Combining with double anti-reflective coatings, it
effectively reduces glare and enhances easy reading, giving the blue a
richer tone.

Open caseback featuring the Calibre 51613 beating at 21600 VPH (3Hz).
Rotor with the engraved inscription " ONE OUT OF 100 LTD. EDITION 2010" and a 18K "PROBUS SCAFUSIA" medalion.
Brushed solid gold deployant buckle with black alligator strap.
For those who prefer the more rugged Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Limited Edition 2010 , another Boutique Exclusive ....
Produced in 250 pieces. Stainless Steel case of diameter 46.2 mm
(slightly larger than the Portuguese version above) and thickness of
15.8mm with the signature crown. Water resistance rated at 6 Bar.
Similar
layout as above Portuguese model, except for the moon-phase. This Big
Pilot version is with a moon phase display showing the moon in both
hemispheres.
The
dial seems to be dark brown and at certain lighting and with the
anti-reflective coating, the dial colour actually looks black.

The unmistakable gloss polished Big Pilot crown contrasting well with the brushed caseband...
Whole case is brushed finished matt with only the top perimeter of the bezel and the edges of the lug-horns gloss polished ...
Paired with thick black alligator leather strap with the rivets and orange stitching....
Engraved 'ONE OUT OF 250 ' on the side ...
