No, gentlemen, don't even come to think that I am currently thinking about starting to love jeweled watches!
But there are few exceptions which are worth being mentioned.
For example, a Jaeger Lecoultre Reverso Platinum Skeleton with its sapphire on the crown:
Or a Cartier Tank Platinum, with its ruby on the crown:
OR... In a different style, this Ulysse Nardin Royal Blue Tourbillon, with its sapphire indices and on the Tourbillon:
While, here, it is too much for my taste:
What do you think on that matter?

My outspoken opinion
To be honest, i dislike rubies on Cartier crowns. The same for Breguet models. When the brands keep up the crowns discrete, i am happy. For example a Santos XL100 or a large model with clean crowns. One exception for the Pasha, which i accept as belongs t...
I probably view it tiered in three or more levels when it comes to jewels: a cabochon on the crown (a no brainer), on the indices (we are just starting to talk about jewels), or on the bezel/dial/case/etc...where it gets more daring.
I'm in agreement that the first two give no problem at all (and that Cartier is just delicious!! ), while the third one is OK but the last is perhaps a bit too much for me as well ;-) Cheers.
Even with out the bezel Jewels....
I would consider buying one. Freak and Sonata would come first.

And exactly!!! Love that watch!! So, I have very conflicted feelings about both PP and JLC cuz they make watches like the one above and then they make super boring/simple watches and I am like ......... :p
