VC Overseas: Worth Dumping Rolex & Omega Plus 3K?
GREETINGS ALL,
I owned an older model VC Overseas about 5 years ago. I sold the watch and went with a Submariner. Frankly I was always disappointed with the quality of a Rolex after owning my first VC. I am about to pick up a mint SS Overseas Chrono at $8750.00. This will force me to sell my Y Series Rolex Submariner AND my Omega Planet Ocean. I also will need to add CASH! I guess I am looking for some reassurrance that buying a VC in the long haul is worth the investment. Am I LUCID?

Let me put it in plain words. Watches are not an investment vehicle. Cash,shares and property are. Invest in those. Buy a watch that you like and "talks" to you. Enough aout these investment questions Julian Sorry about the rant

To place under my damn tree!! Experience has shown me that as the holidays approach, up goes demand and prices. If I were a patient man (I am the exact opposite) I would wait till February 2008 and start looking!
