VC website is improved (but not perfect)
www.vacheron-constantin.com has been upgraded. It's much faster. There's no more music requiring long download time. You can get to the watches quicker. There are more models & variations to see, although the newest new ones, like the Toledo Alex has been teasing us with, are not yet displayed.
"Complications" and "Essentielles" (except 1972) are now in the design group "Patrimony". "1972" is a seperate design group, as is the newcomer "Eng?rie". Malte, Overseas, Royal Eagle & Kalla are still there.
The photos are small, can't be enlarged, & are sometimes clipped off at the bottom along with the model descriptions. These descriptions are pretty "bare bones", not even describing the case metal.
When you pick a design group to look at, look for the small scroll on the left side of the left column. In some groups you might miss some models unless you move the scroll. Also, when you click on a model, sometimes you can click again for variations that appear in the right column.
Unfortunately, it's still impossible to pull up a dealer list other than in Europe.
Overall, I think it's a good improvement. The speed of the website is appreciated. I expect VC will be adding further enhancements. The first one, I hope, will be the ability to enlarge the photos.
