Very poisoned by the SBGH267. Considering to sell the Cartier Santos to fund the SBGH267. Should I do it?
I have been quite enamoured by GS recently especially those with textured/special dial. Saw the SBGH267 at the boutique a few weeks ago and have been thinking about it since then.
Now my local dealer has a new set and the price is quite good. I am now seriously considering selling my rather new Cartier Santos to fund this. Should I do it?

I agree with skyeriding. Cartier is definitely a true blue watchmaker and a well respected one.
Even if I sell off my Cartier for the GS, it doesn’t mean Cartier is any lesser. It’s just that me as a mere human who doesn’t print money, I can only sell a piece to fund another piece which I like even better.😉
If you only wear one watch, the SEIKO is better. Now, in summer, with the leather strap, the Cartier no works. You can not swim with her, and so on.
The Cartier is a "CARTIER", pure design, great name, i think you need both and should better sell the TV. Have a nice day!
I was in a similar situation a week ago & finally pulled the trigger after much thought..
Like you I was offered a deal which I could not resist and then once I saw several pics of the dial & then the performance of that 36vph workhorse I decide & saw no reason for not getting it . My watch is in the US and I shall receive it sometime in July ...

As that is a very personal choice. As for the SBGH267, it is a highly attractive watch that I can highly recommend - looking forward to seeing it live. And if I am lucky it may be today

I have this watch. It has different shades of color depending on the light and viewing angle. IMHO you will enjoy it immensely. Good luck with your decision.

I would let go of the Omega Teutonic. Keep the Santos ( It is versatile design, sporty yet elegant for dress watch). Honestly even if I have to choose between GS SBGH 267, Omega Teutonic vs Santos I would choose your Santos.
My collection is quite small. I prefer quality to quantity.
Currently I have the following 6 pieces in rotation, I also have two G-Shocks which I didn’t include here as they are my weekend only watches and not included in my main rotation. I am currently leaning towards keeping the Speedy Teutonic than the Cartier...
It depends on how many Grand Seiko watches you plan to eventually own.
If you only ever want one then don't buy this and don't buy any other GS either.
