Okay, so I'm finally smitten. The don't think the Vianney Halter Antiqua is watch you're supposed to like right away.
So, I have a couple of questions. How big is it? Also, the "conteporaine" is a smaller version of this watch, that is available in a moon-phase variation in addition to the perpetual calendar version. How big is that? Is it supposed to be the ladies version of the Antiqua, or just a "mid-size" version?
As I understand it, the Antiqua is an automatic movement, but I can't see any sort of rotor in the display back. How does the "mystery rotor" work? Is it like the Kiu Tai Yu Myster Tourbillon? Sort of "cheating" by using clear sapphire?
Anyone have a good scan of the back? I couldn't find any good scans of the Antiqua, so I pasted together this version from the website. (Incidentally, vianney-halter.com is the single worst-designed website I have ever seen)

Drop me an email if you want the super-high resolution 3MB copy.
