vintage G-P watches
i just purchased an 18k pink gold G-P wrist watch. the jewler who sold it to me said it was manufactured in the 1950's. the watch is 17 jewels manual wind and the serial # in the movement itself is 1209795. does anybody have any historical information about this watch, particularly the date it was manufactured.
also, i read somewhere that because of the copper, pink gold can oxidize with time. if so, what are the proper storage methods for pink gold?
