Vintage omega

I have had this watch for some years now, perhaps 12? There is something simple and pleasant about it. I like the mesh dial look, flash of gold, applied logo and center seconds. Contemporary size for a watch from the 50s (seems about 37 or 38mm). I recently sent pictures to omega boutique to get an extract printed. I just thought it would be cool to get more info, not really any reason to have it. I do find it curious. It says diameter 30mm and this is clearly larger- perhaps that was for the movement? Very interesting this started in Yugoslavia, would love to know the journey from there to western N.Y. maybe a soldier? I should wear this watch more. I wear it maybe once or twice a month and wind it twice as often. Maybe need to find someone for servicing too, however, it is keeping fine time.
