Vintage Yin and Yang - A quick look on JLC Triple Dates

Friends, as many of you know, JLC has always been renowned
for their Calendriers.
And special high times even go back to the 40ies,
which many consider one of the periods with outstanding designs
of Calender watches, including very nice movements, as well.

When browsing a bit through one of my JLC boxes, my eye
fell on two pieces, I really appreciate and cherish deeply.

So I just thought to quickly share a few shots of round Calendar
pieces, offering Triple Date complications and also great design,
with the characteristic " teardrop" lugs, characteristic for this time.

While I already was having a white/silver dialed samples with nice RG
indices, which to me always exhibits a spevial spell, I had been lucky
last year, to encounter one counterpiece with black dial.
- I had seen this piece before and was mesmerized immediately..

A very good friend was parting from it, and I was considered a
friendly house & subsequently was able to pick it up,
as a wonderful completion of a Duo of these TDs.

Therefore here, and without further ado, just these shots, which
to my honest belief represent one of the most appreciated JLC designs..
