As mentioned, last week I had the chance to see some of the offerings from Vulcain.
Here is a closer look on the 50s Presidents’ Chronograph:

From the looks, Vulcain is using the same case as for the Moonphase I was posting earlier.
The basic elements of the dial looks the same, finish, index and the dauphin hands. But you may notice that the blued second hand is replaced by a hand matching the case metal.

Gone is the full year calendar and instead there is a one button 30 minutes chronograph and a date at 6 o’clock.

I find the watch very classic and well balanced. The strong lugs and hatched crown gives this a sportier look. I like it.

Inside is the Vulcain Caliber V-57, 105 components, 28800 vph and with a 42 hour power reserve.

Available both in steel and pink gold, silver or grey dial.
On the wrist the 42 mm case sits perfect.
