Wandern in Südtirol
Heatwaves notwithstanding, glorious days in Südtirol. And no, I did not use the compass in the watch but it is possibly the most appropriate tool up here (the Outdooractive app is far more effective).
I am obviously very happy with the patina on my Danner boots; it is going to get beaten up but every evening I wipe the dust off and voila! A newly acquired pair of Rohner light trekking socks makes the trail a lot less trying. An ode to the weekend hiker here. (Please post your hiking pictures)

via ferrata requires 'bodily intelligence'--it is always best to start young! It is very encouraging to see such fearlessness and strength at this age.

I came from a pair of tactical Tachyon which I wear almost everywhere; this one is heavier but does not slip all over the place like the Tachyon.
