Sorry for the late post of watch hunting part 2 and thanks a lot for you guys comments and suggestions about which GO should my friend takes.
My friend and I stayed in the watch shop for nearly two and a half hours (Woo! so long time) and we could not make up our minds which Go is the best. 1845 is a classical timepiece, movement and the winding feel a lot similiar to classical pocket watches.
The 1845 movemnt is very neat, sharp and impressive especially this is a manual watch that does not have any rotor to cover the base plate and the swan neck fine adjustment device. I can see the movement in whole picture, no need to "swing" the rotor to view another part of the base plate. Besides, this pointer date model still keeps the vinatge pocket watch design. The pointer date shifts anti-clockwise that differs from new version which the date shifts clockwise (like in 1845 perpetual).
Although such a little change seems not a main factor to affect the buying decision, such little design difference gives a bonus to the feeling of being 'classic'. Besides, we all want to buy "something special and unique, not a common watch that we can see everyday live, rite?
My friend's initial decision is to purchase a LE Navigator Kareer, however, after comparing with a 1845 pointer date, he places the 1845 above the Limited Edition Navigator Kareer. One major factor is that the Navigator Kareer feels "lifeless" as it has no sceond hand. Besides, comparing the dial with Navigator Senator, the dial of LE Naviagto Kareer lacks the "military triangle", my friend points out that LE Navigator Kareer seems just an ordinary watch with a black dial (although the markers and hand set have lum, the lum actually is not very bright as in my Navigator). Below are pictures for dial comparison,

Personally, I think Go can places such "military triangle" in the dial very easy, however, GO designer may consider the dial will look crowdy and will affect the simplicity, clean and neat design of the watch, so the design get rid of the triangle in the Navigator Kareer . I am not sure whether people will have similiar comment about the dial design, maybe this question leaves to the experts here.
After a long thought (actually stuggling
), My friend let the sales person wiping his credit card in exchange to a big presentation box that containing a classical GO timepiece.
Finally, my friend leaves the watch shop with a big {^___^}
Sorry for the long write up and thanks in advance for reading any comment make after...
Best regards,
Hans
P.S. I will ask my friend to take more photos about his two tones dial (polish silver and matt silver) GO 1845 pointer date, and I will post here for further comment.
