Which one won?
If one had to choose between the Girrard Perregaux Ladies World Time OR the Rolex Midsize gold/steel Yachtmaster which one would one want to win?
I know they are two very different styles of watches. And I like each of them for different reasons.
I love the World Time!! but it has a white (or pink or blue-ick!) leather strap which (1) is flashy along with all the diamonds and (2) makes it not so versatile and it will show wear easily.
I really like the Rolex because it is almost the same size as my current watch and it has a little bit of zip with the gold. I think the full yellow gold is too ostentatious for me here.
I have worn the same watch (a Raymond Weil ) for eleven years and I got it as a gift. I think the Rolex is very practical, but a little bread and butter, but the Girrard Perregaux has this leather strap that bugs me. Which is the better watch? Which is the better value? Which one should win?
