Why doesn't AP have a flying tourbillon in their collection?
Is there a simple answer to this?
my first response is that it's because they aren't as 'safe' against shocks that traditional tourbillon's are (with the fixed bridge)... but I think
something like the new RO Tourbillon would look that much nicer with a flying octagon cage or something of the sort...
Yet the Edward Piguet tourbillon line (not intended for sports) could easily take such a complication.
Am I missing a piece in the AP collection that does have a flying tourbillon??
Thanks, and hoping your having a good weekend,
S
