F.P. Journe

thanks

I wouldn't know either, because no matter how closely I study the diagram of the remontoir mechanism in the tourbillon, I just cannot understand how it works! In any case, I will always be on the lookout for any new model in the Souverain series, although I guess I shouldn't hold my breath. In any case, I can't think of any other maker has a whole series devoted to pursuing accuracy (or chronometry or whatever else I should call it without getting into trouble) as a fundamental design goal. Ok, how about an otherwise simple watch with a fusee chain (and with the fusee chain mechanism visible from the outside)? The thing is, I enjoy the feel of winding my Ti CS, and I have to resist the urge to wind it multiple times in a 24-hour period. A remontoir or a fusee would allow me to do so. Also, as with the Resonance or Duality, the idea of a complication solely for the purpose of enhancing chronometry (as opposed to other wedding cake-type complications) is such an attractive concept to me. But that's just me.
