this case and the chrono sea hawk introduced last season?
When the new one came out last season, the biggest critique was that the watch was clearly made for people with massive wrists. The reviews said the lug design combined with the rubber strap created big empty spaces between the case and the wearer's wrist.
I tried one on when i visited Bangkok a while back. The reviews were spot on for me at least. Awesome manly watch but it just didn't sit well on a smaller wrist like mine.
As the latest season came, GP stated that the new chrono hawk would have redesigned lugs and a much more form fitting bracelet/strap. Maybe they realized Asia could be their biggest market? Asia=smaller wrists...
Is there a difference? I really like this piece, but a no go for me if it sits just the same as the first one...

I agree, the gold version is gorgeous ...
whereas the stainless variant appears a bit too bunker-like in my eyes. The contrast of gold and black makes the watch less monolithic. However, maybe the same dark blue strap would improve the impression of the steel version? Marcus
Never saw blue rubber on the Chrono Hawk Blue....
But I guess that is should be possible to take the strap from the Sea Hawk Blue and put on the Chrono Hawk. Will ask... Maybe that would help... But I still prefer the PG case! :) Thank you for your input, Marcus. Best Blomman

The strap is slightly reworked...
To improved the wearing comfort of the watch. I think the case has not been reworked. You should try it on - and let us know what you think! :) Best Blomman

i wonder if the bracelet works for small wrists... while the older rubber strap design didn't fit too well, it was definitely extremely soft. i have to say one of the nicest rubber straps i have ever tried on.
