I'll have to agree with almost everything previously posted. A case that would be termed "mid-size" by today's standards, precious metal, thin, with reptile strap. I would probably add silver or white dial, although I think a rose gold case with black dial looks pretty neat too.
Regarding the James Bond scenario (see tony p), I could picture "James" wearing a Three Bridges in the private baccarat room in Monte Carlo but a dress watch should say "understated elegance" (it has to be better then a Submariner). Although the Ultra-Thin is certainly elegant it's a little too understated for me.
How about a couple other options? Rose Gold Classique Elegance Small Seconds ... right size, thin, but it does have luminous hands which might be considered a no-no. My personal choice is the 25960 Vintage 1945 (28mm X 28mm) in rose gold with silver dial (I don't think a dress watch has to be round).
