Mini Review of my new GP Seahawk II Pro
Well I have had he GP Seahawk II Pro now for all of three days now. It is nothing less than awesome. First of all even though it is definately a huge beast of a watch It wears comfortably all day. I have an 8.25" wrist so it doesn't look too awefully huge, but I don't wear long sleeve button down very often either. That could be a real problem with this one. It is only 133 grams on the leather strap with deployment buckle even though it is very large.

The fit and finish are excellent. The Sapphire Crystal is slightly domed and is 4.85 mm thick. I don't know if it is AR coated. The markers are clear and legible. The lume on the markers and hands (including the reserve indicator) is like a torch and lasts all night long. The date window has a rectangular chapter ring like piece because the date wheel is well below the dial level. Even when the watch sits on the nightstand for 7 hours the reserve indicator only drops off about 10%. The reserve is advertised to be 48 hours.
The bezel is 120 very positive clicks and the 12:00 marker has very good lume.
The crown is very easy to grip even with gloves and is very smooth to operate.

has 26 jewels and is supposed to be very good. Most of you guys know a lot more about that than I do.
The case back is stamped with a porpoise snaked around an anchor with a trident, with very deep relief and is very cool looking.
I ordered the GP black Rubber strap with the deployment clasp which may take a couple of weeks to get. The Titanium bracelet costs more than I paid for the watch, so it may have to wait a while. But I am considering selling off a few other watches to fund it.
I am also going to get a custom strap made by Shane Delurian, who does fantastic work. Here are a few pics that I shot of the watch by itself and with a few others for comparison.
