Minor problem with my new, 35 day old...
Sea Hawk II USA 71 ref# 49905 watch. It has been stopping between 11:15pm and 11:20pm almost every night. Went to my AD, however, their watchmaker won't look at it until he see's it stopped. Problem , when I pick it up in the morning and put it on my wrist, it starts to tick. I have written GP, and will call my AD once again today, to try and work out an acceptable solution.
This watch is only 35 days old. It is still in new condition, so I am at a loss to why this is happening. Maybe John (ei8htohms) can shed some light. My first idea to what the problem may be is the gear train connected to the date wheel. If that is the problem, would you suggest the local AD watchmaker work on the watch, or would you send it to the service center?
Any suggestions on how I should proceed?
I will keep you posted on how this is handled by GP and my local AD.
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Kevin
