Pleasure!! Here?s a variety (some pictures as well)

Hi Lloyd,

welcome to the GP Forum!

Let?s see; narrowing down to current and very recent models, there?s still a variety.
To be somewhat more helpful, i think some more help in terms of the date (maybe a pointer date, with a hand out of the center?) and the general look (sporty/dressy) will be appreciated.

Nonetheless, here?s a little overview of some models which cover from sportive to elegant pieces, in different sizes and materials:

Current production models:

I?ll just thrown in the reference, the case diameter and the picture.

49530 (40mm)

49920 (40mm)

47620 (34mm, 5mm thin, but manual wind)

Discontinued models:

49520 (38mm, phased out 2002/2003)

80100 Laureato (automatic, 36mm, phased out 2000 and a bit rare)

47700 "Classique94" (34mm, 1999/2000)

90520 "Classique95" (36mm, 1999/2000)

"F1-047" (38mm, i believe it was discontinued prior to 1999)

Yet to be officially released (which may or not will happen):

49570 (38mm)

So you see, there are quite different pieces.
Almost each of them does or did come with different dials and many in other case materials as well; some are or were available in precious metals only, others in steel or Titanium.

I?d say it?s best to choose a "look" or style and proceed from there. Of course the best thing to do is to have a look at them in nature; a picture will give only limited impressions.

The 49530 with GP?s own movement and GP?s patented Big Date and moonphase mechanism is a very special and substantial watch; there?s only one small series in steel with blue dials, all others are solid gold (which makes it a bit heavy).

Hope this helps a bit, to give it a kick-start?

Greetings from germany,

Peter
