As to an insight in the "making of" or "model development", here?s an earlier prototype which featured a more colourful dial and a regular nickle-/rhodium-plated movement:

Those who follow our forum may recall; the pictures were visible (for a short time) during SIHH but removed due the changes proposed.
I think this may give an insight in how serious the project was handled by GP and Laurent Picciotto; it?s not just another dial colour, but the changes towards the base model and the "USA-87" limited edition are significant. To me, the efforts and time put into the "Chronopassion" edition are well spent, as the outcome is a really unique watch.
To top it off, each piece will be accompanied by a special certificate that explains the special features and the background of the model.
And given all the changes it comes with, the price tag is very reasonable!
