The tonneau shape
Not many enthusiasts do know the "Richeville" line does have quite a history for GP.
It?s been in 1992 when the first models of this model line were introduced, but "Richeville" models by GP, although in round cases, go back to mid 1960?s.
Since 1992, all "Richeville" models, such as the unique big date/moon phase ref. 27600,
offer a rectangular and curved cases, which is commonly referred to as
"tonneau".
But other case shapes are not unknown at GP, of course
An example for a "square" case might be ref. 80520 "Type375"
while a "carr?-cambr?" shaped case is the ref. 24990 "square cambered" chronograph
which is a shape often called "cushion shape" either (and the 24990 does have a vintage predessor of the 1960?s, hence the original name as "Vintage1960" when it was introduced first).
And now we also found the solution for our riddle #6!
Greetings from germany,
