Am asking because my PML XL doesn't seems as efficient as my other dual-direction watches in auto-winding using wrist motion.
If I fully-wound up my PML on a Monday and wear it everyday for at least 8 to 10 hours in the office, it is not uncommon to find it stop running on a Thursday morning. Such don't happen with my IWC Portuguese Chrono nor my PAM, both of which have the same 48 hours reserve but wind both directions.
Wonder is it because a single direction wound watch is not as effective as a dual direction wound.
