Question about US duties from Switzerland
Dear All,
Could anybody help me to know MA/US duties? I plan to get the birthday with 20 wedding anniversary present for my wife. I am considering Breguet Naples with diamonds. I would like to know the cost when the watch is sent from a store in Switzerland to my office in MA state in US. Will any federal or state sales tax be imposed? Will Customs duties be imposed? If so, what percentage? I googled, but it is hard to tell which category the Breguet Naples with diamond falls in. I hope that somebody helps me shortly. Thanks.

There is a U.S. website that gives you the formula for calculating duty.
The individual States cannot, by law, impose anything extra.

If you do not mind, could you possibly tell me which site helps me to find out the duties?
MA use taxes
keep in mind that MA monitors US customs declarations and will bill you penalties, interest and of course the use tax itself. They are about 2 years behind in this effort. The way the calculations are made is not pretty. I know IL also does this.
