How many watch straps are made fm exotic skins anyway. Would make a greater impact if LVMH or any of the leather goods giants decide so
I think the decision is for political reasons
meaning that even if it really has no effect, it makes the group look good in attempt to show they care about environmental/wildlife issues. In reality is might be relatively meaningless in the preservation of these species.
