Big congratulations Sam! Here are my humble opinion.

 

The 5496P, despite it's a marvel, isn't one of my preferred piece among the PP catalogue and this new strap I think is slightly out of place, I'm sorry.

The Cabaret on that strap is highly fascinating and more desirable than ever. I definitely can't understand why ALS has discontinued the Cabaret. :-( We want a new Cabaret!!!

The RL PLM - another absolute grail from ALS! - on this strap looks a bit weird, but not wrong. I think it simply need some time to be "digested".

The DB25 looks absolutely perfect on a purple strap. Now that you've seen it you want to ban any other strap. Stop!

The 5170G gained a lot of class and personality. I don't know why, but I'd love to define this new combo as a perfect watch for an elegant gentleman.

The 5905P seems to smile with his new strap. Well, I think the standard piece is quite "frigid", while now is even funny.

At the opposite, the Langematik looks so sad with this grey strap. Can I suggest pale blue? It needs to be "light up". I'm sorry.

Enjoy your wonderful collection Sam. I'm waiting to read the "big news" about your next piece. ;-)

Since I have no immediate acquisition target (apart from an embargoed piece from my favorite brand ), I decided to try new straps on pieces I don't often wear (black leather straps are boring). All of a sudden, I seem to have a handful of new watches....v...

The distributor, they are original pp straps. The rest are custom made by Mister Chrono. They are in Paris, Hong Kong and Singapore....

I just changed the strap on my 5159 to shiny black from the original brown. I will try to remember yours for the next time, I am sure it would look great on a 5159!!!

I will certainly attach significant weights to your remarks and will rethink those you do not concur. As for the 5496P - I have rarely worn it because the black strap was too dull (I should have waited for the salmon dial) but this strap has liven up the ...
