Date can be challenging to read at time..
So yes - the double date can be challenging to read at times, especially in the blue version vs the yellow.
However, both versions suffer from the fact that the hands are not skeletonized and fairly fat so certain times, you can't even read the date even if there was more contrast in the numbers.
Reading the time however is very very easy, the numbers are there for style, but you have the white tick markers on the outside and a generous amount of lume to make reading the time in low light nice.
