Thank you for kind words.
I've never thought about the 349SPORT as an example of minimalist design, maybe because actually I'm not a designer. It's an interesting definition and I'd like to add some thoughts.
At the beginning, I wanted my surname to be engraved on the back, but I've soon found it absolutely superfluous, since this unique piece was designed and realized to be an individual object, not for sale, and I assumed I didn't need my personal timepiece to remember me my surname.
Moreover, I had a lot of concept and meanings to be expressed via the design - that's a real "language" - when seriously and responsibly used to obtain something unique and recognizable. I'd like to invite you to read the (long) articles I've published on PuristSPro when I've introduced the 349SPORT.
Of course, to simply eliminate unuseful wordings on a watch isn't automatically a guarantee of good design, since Beauty is not a marketing formula (unless you exclusively copy something from the past) and I think you can't learn it by simply going to a design school, judging by how many ugly objects are produced by very important brands.
Ciao.
