I was hoping of some sort of hybrid Ferrier and Urwerk. But don't ask me how it looked in my mind because I didn't know (either)... I was probably hoping on a miracle design.

When they first announced, I wasn't sure how LF was really going to insert themselves in a very strong urwerk case design.

There is more sensuality and refinement here than any Urwerk I've seen or tried. Looking forward to a look under the hood and learning some more. Very avant garde yet refined. Might be something special here.

For LF, a brand with very classical (if not to say cuatious) designs this collaboration could be a starting point to new direction. My feeling is that they test the waters with this piece. Given reactions at the auction (and during the previews before) I ...

I wouldn't see it as a 50/50 shared project, but rather as LF refining an Urwerk watch. And it has worked for me. While I liked the overall idea of Urwerk, the design of their watches was never appealing to me. The influence of LF kept the technological e...

If I had F-you money I'd buy it at that auction. Hopefully Laurent Ferrier and Urwerk will do more collaborative work in the future.

Well, at least they decided to keep the 'min' next to the 30 there.... I mean without it, how would you know what some numbers from 0 to 60 would represent on a watch after all 😉

NT IS

The watch is large, impressive but we can feel the LF influence with the overall fluidity. It is a great outcome because the Urwerk traditional design is revisited with elegance and style. A superb achievement. Fx
