Very cool version of the Kalpa, and this manual movement is fantastic!
I have a Kalpa QF which has an automatic. Still well-finished but it does lack a bit of the character of the 8-day manual that you've got

Agree. This was the main reason I was looking and finally fell
for this Kalpa. Can only recommend to look out for a PF with this caliber from the past.
Merci. Has a sort of art deco style front. Movement is top. No cost
cutting logic yet. Can understand the rumor that the Sandoz foundation had to spend more than a billion in the PF, Vaucher, Atokalpa venture and to refinance PF for years. This quality came at a cost other manufacturers refrained from.

The perimeter of the "dial" is so cool
I love how it bumps in to hold the numbers and markers. Gives lots of depth. Great piece.
Yes,the movement is top class.
I have the same in my Ovale Pantographe and,as you rightfully say,is unrivaled in finishing in these price regions ...and way above. I believe that PF watches from this era will be highly sought after in a few years from now. ...
