I also like meteorite dials, they are so cool!! Here are some watches with meteorite that I think are fun and maybe you will like as well in various price ranges, altho, you can't go wrong with the RG! One of the best meteorite watchmakers is prob Antoine Preziuso , he is a master at melding meteorite! well, without further ado, here they are!




Arnold and Son, in house at 10 grand USD




Schaumberg, not in house, below five grand




Golay Spierer, not in house but a lot of customization available (dont know about price)




The master Antoine Preziuso, price unknwon sort of in house?




nown, sort of in house?




Lundis Bleus, under five grand not in house movement




Zelos, under one grand not in house movement




HOD russia, so while they dont have a meteorite dial, they do a lot of customization at affordable prices, this watch is around 2 grand usd not in house movement




Aleksandr Nesterenko, another watchmaker who does a lot of custom work and so prob can make you a meteorite dial. His prices are around 10 grand




Hermes, around 70 grand In house movement




DAvid Rutton, around 10 grand not in house movement




Horage, around 7 grand IN house movement




Bovet, in house movement




Hodinky, lots of customization availiable and so price unknown




Louis Moniet, in house and is not a traditional meteorite dial as it only has a small piece but it is a more affordable option




Debethune, around 120 grand in house




Parmigiani, in house, around 20 grand




Laine around 10 grand not inhouse




formex, not in house and around 1 to 5 grand

Hello all, I’ve been looking for a Meteorite dial watch and am considering the RG Prestige. There are not many out there, Rolex has one (if you could get it) Armand Blliard would make me his BD04 version n white gold for about 20% of the cost for a RG etc...  

Very nice, even if a bit unexpected in such a watch.

I’ve talked to Josh recently and he will not do another Meteorite dial, at least in one of his watches because of the special edition he did. If I run across another Independant I will look into him making a dial. What makes Joshua’s dial special?…Jim ... 

There's no one else doing meteorite guilloché, so I would look to him if you want that level of unique dial.

I was very lucky to have ordered one of these from Josh. It’s truly an amazing piece. In some light/angles you see mostly meteorite, and with the slightest shift the dial changes personality completely showing it’s masterful guilloché. I’d say if you can ...

Yours is the perfect regulator, I have the Patek Phillips 5235G and just before the turn of the hour you have to look hard to make sure what the hour is because the hour hand is advance to almost the next number. This LB is like a jumping hour (I assume) ... 

I own one of Josh’s watches and his dials are unique

His infinity pattern is one of a kind. No one else in the world has mastered that level of fine hand guilloche yet. He also screws in his chapter rings with microscrews, similar to how Roger Smith does it. Him and Smith are possibly the only two who do it...

There is something special about meteorite dials. Maybe it’s the uniqueness of each dial or for me it’s a reminder during a crap work day that we’re part of something bigger so don’t stress too much. That’s just my take. Good luck with the search.

Pics don’t justify the beauty of this RG . Was lucky to see it at a event a while ago . Good luck and hope you will find the right watch for you I see JLC , Omega , Arnold and S , DeBethune, Zelos , JD and a few others make a meteorite dial watch as well ...

I actually was lucky enough to hold a RG one time and it was fantastic! Isn't Hodinky's work amazing! love his work, he has an insta page and you can seee all of the cool stuff he makes and he is a fellow watchprositer :P I think his insta name is Hodinky...

In action to the RG I texted Santory Billard the Hodinky likeness and he is going to copy it to some extent, it wont have the retrograde date but very similar and at a very reasonable price…Jim
